Kosher Dim Sum At Bodai Vegetarian

Bodai Vegetarian is technically in Borough Park, but it’s just a few blocks away from the Sunset Park Chinatown and my personal favorite, Lucky Vegetarian. The fact that it straddles both a predominantly Jewish neighborhood and an Asian one may account for the fact that Bodai is not just all vegetarian, it’s kosher. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for the dim sum menu. Despite some questionable choices when ordering we had a good meal. Highlights included king oyster mushroom rice rolls, bbq vegetarian “meat”, and mushroom congee. Next time we’ll have to order from the regular menu.
